Say it isn't so! Poirot failed a case? *gasp*

The Chocolate Box is an intriguing story. Poirot is telling Hasting, one evening, the story of the one time he was mistaken in identifying the culprit. Poirot was a young man in Brussels, on the police force. A young woman comes to see him, asking to look into a relative's suspicious death. Poirot realizes how the man was killed, but unfortunately pointing the finger at the wrong person, because he overlooked a tiny detail. The story has a moral: always pay attention to the details, even the tiniest.

I think it was a fun concept to read about one of poirots failures

A fab short story , shows Poirot ‘failing’ to solve a case and how his method of using his Grey brain cells came to be - lovely straightforward case

Este pequeno conto revela uma investigação por parte de Poirot que assumiu contornos que o mesmo não estava à espera. Através de uma reviravolta inesperada, descobrimos que o detetive belga também falha na resolução dos casos.
Gostei mais do que estava à espera.
