I really enjoyed my time with this book! I even finished it in one day! I do think it is a bit too fast-paced and would have liked to spend more time with the characters and watch their growth a bit more slowly. Otherwise I loved it!
I quite enjoyed the inter generational stories and how it showcased how generational trauma gets passed down. LGBTQ Muslim stories are hard to find and I enjoyed seeing this perspective a lot.
