A great continuation in the series. The deeper looks into characters back stories made this story for me.

I liked this book, but when we got to the truly suspenseful part of it, i did get a little irritated that a certain someone found her way into nearly being killed again. It was a bit predictable after reading the first book.

I did have the thought of if she’s going to continue this pattern in all the books, I’m not sure I’ll make it through this series. Still gave it 4 stars because i did enjoy the book.

This series is entertaining and light- a good read for pure character enjoyment- fumbling friends stumble on mysteries and use their "detective" skills to lead law enforcement down the right path. Each has faced a tragedy in their life- while you can read them out of order- to better understand and know your characters- it is helpful to read book 1 first.

I enjoyed the second book in this series about a set of wonderful ladies in Miracle Springs.

I especially like when Nora refers to authors whose books I have read. And, the sweet new hot beverage near the end.

Listened to on Hoopla through JCPL.
