The secret book and scone society members are truly angels. This series is so wonderful. Cozy indeed.

I really enjoy that, in this series, even though there's the suspended disbelief about the murder-solving, that the friendships and emotional experiences of Nora and her friends feel genuine. As a sock knitter, I also have a soft spot for the fact that one of the characters is constantly knitting gift socks.

I like these books despite that at times they are not polished (sometimes as a reader I find I am not sure how the protagonist got from one scene to anther or why... its like watching a movie that quick cuts to a forward moment in time 30 seconds in the future... the continuity is still there but just something is missing) That being said, I just enjoy the premise of the strong friend group of women and books. When it comes to fiction recommendations, I seem to have the same reading habits as the author or at the least the main protagonist, Nora. Very few that I can add to my own reading list. But that's ok because my list is already pretty long LOL!
