Really enjoyed the story development in this one! Although Yorick is the main character I really love how others are explored and introduced. Some shocking twists which I did not see coming and glimpses into the future which also successfully created mystery and builds tension. Looking forward to the next one!

I am not sure I am going to continue this series. I love the storyline--What happens to humankind when a mysterious plague kills off all the men except one? Enter Yorrick the Last Man on Earth and supposedly the last hope for the continuation of the human race. Well, if Yorrick is all we have, we are in trouble. Frankly, I want to choke Yorrick for being completely annoying. Instead of being a team player, most of the time he is doing something incredibly stupid. For example, each time 365, the government operative sent to accompany him to California, asks him to remain hidden, he attempts to save the day and they all end up in more danger. He keeps talking about going to Australia to find his girlfriend, with whom he was on the phone when the plague struck, instead of focusing on the more important thing-- saving the human race.

I may read one more book and hopefully Yorrick begins to grow in the story and on me, because I adore the story arc. Just think it is worthy of a better main character.
