I don't like how the outing conflict was handled, but I do like the messaging of this series overall. It sucks to be the "other", there will ALWAYS be the "other", AND there will always be people who will understand. I too have had moments like Tsubasa feeling like no one will understand me, but there are other trans people! There are allies like Kashiwabara. I still don't know how I feel about the depictions of transphobia/trauma, but I'm glad people actually shut them up oh my GOD. Also, I liked this volume better than 2 because there was more focus on main friend group and Tsubasa's complicatedness being honest. It's still 3 stars because god the start of this volume is rough like an outing plotline is so.... :/

Tl;dr the mangakas heart is in the right place and there are loveable characters, but some of the writing+pacing could be a lot better.

Mais ce manga est un banger à chaque tome. J’ai encore du mal à croire que le prochain est le
Dernier. Je ne veux pas m’arrêter. Je veux un film dessus

There are some serious conversations in this volume about gender and sexual identity and the way we perceive that for famous people. These conversations have been happening a lot online lately too, with the popularity of shows like Heartstopper. People don't owe you those aspects of their lives, and they are allowed to change!

But anyway, I digress. I love Ryo being able to come into his own and I can't wait to see where he goes in the next volume.
