What a great volume. I think that the way this one explored gender identity and even the coming out process was pretty good. This series is really shaping up to be a top notch LGBTQ+ series. Made me think back on how far I have come since high school. Really just so good.

I liked this volume. We got an exploration of the one character more.

<spoiler The one character ended up deleting the video which I anticipated. I thought the reactions were interesting seems like there were a group of people over enthusiastic in a way that's invasive, some confused, others accepting and some really transphobic which was the bully to begin with and his reasoning was the attention was off of him. I like ryo grew. He's happy with himself, but that doesn't mean he wants his own history out there and he's more accepting and I love that ballence with that character it makes sense for him. Where some people are more open to sharing everything about themselves. I liked the depth of the non binary Character and I resonate with / relate. I question my gender identity everyday and I'm just me like I've said those words before + I used to be more unclear with my sexuality before my gender questioning, so that's relatable as well. I like how it shows this company wanted them to be a certain way and they felt like they couldn't branch out and explore themselves. If reminded me a lot of how people treat harry styles, kit Conner, Billie eilish, etc. like audiences have this weird entitlement to people's sexuality and when they do something that they don't like fans feel lied to and critique them. Like omg he's immediately lying because they sleep with girls even though sexuality as a whole is a spectrum. Like some people call in it strictly to one gender but it's not like that for everyone! + The idea of coming out is I believe based on white supremacy that anything not "normal" has to be called out and like straight cis, able bodied, white is the default and it's up to everyone else to go out of there way idk if I'm making my sense but yeah. I also appreciated the brand exploration as well we get to see what their brand represents in identity. It's very accurate when brands or people colab with bigger YouTubers they'll always be associated with the collab and it's easy for them to fall off because their fan base isn't authentic to them alone but with the more popular YouTuber. So it's interesting how we see the development of not only their brand but themselves! I loved that the brother was so supportive and knew more because he studied I feel like that's so sweet and can be realistic. Obviously an ally won't know more then someone who experiences it first hand but they can know more of the terminology amongst info. I like how the brand stuck up for the person even though at first the person didn't stick up for them. I feel like Ryo vollume 1 would not have done that.

Excited for volume 4

I missed the characters we met in volume 2, but I really like where they went with Tsubasa's storyline.
