Beautiful
Immensely re-readable - I raced through once to gobble up each poem so that I can go back and savor them again.

There were some poems in here that hit me so deep or made me laugh, but also others that frustrated me, got me uncomfortable, or made me really think. Poetry is meant to do all of these things so if you want a book that really picks apart things as simple as cutting a vegetable on a cutting board to what it means to be alive or not, then I think this is for you.
I will definitely be revisiting some of the poems in here as the more spiritual ones hit home. I personally found Aonghus and Spiders to be my favorites!

I found Don’s tiktok and saw this book of his was available on Kindle Unlimited and I was instantly drawn in. Seriously, once I started reading it, I couldn’t put it down. It was such a quick and powerful collection of poems and all of them made you feel some kind of emotion. My favorites are definitely “unopened letter”, “Swift”, “when the sky loves”, and “underwater” but I honestly loved each and every single one of them. I’m betting on it now. This book is going to blow up one day and I’m ready to see it get the recognition it deserves!

Nothing great, nothing bad. One towards the end that reminded me of the circle of life which was kinda deep. Prolly my favorite of the book.
