I’m not sure what the intended audience for this book is?? it’s written as if it’s for early teens but the subject matter is definitely a bit disturbing for that age

Having now re-read all the books in the series, I can't say I've completely enjoyed the experience. I thought this last book was slightly better than Girls Out Late but not by much. The characters constantly make terrible decisions, which I'm aware is intentional but makes for a frustrating reading experience.

What really stuck out to me in this one was Ellie's dad being completely unsupportive. And Russell is still the worst.

I'm obviously not the target audience anymore and I know I felt differently as a teenager. However I don't always think Wilson handles the themes in the most sensitive way so it makes me wonder what the sequel will be like. I'm not really expecting the Girls to behave in a mature way, even if they're adults.
