Auden Sinclair owes a chain of luxury hotels. Reed Hutchinson is a veteran hockey player for the Seattle Serpents. Auden and Hutch both have swore off dating, thinking they would be happier alone. What happens when these two share just one night together?

From the very first chapter I was hooked on this book. I loved the chemistry between Hutch and Auden. I loved the banter, the other players on the team, Auden's little group of friends. I just loved it all. The text conversations between the "Serpents Singles" had be laughing until I was crying. I loved how Hutch refused to believe it was fate bringing him and Auden together, it was always just a "coincidence." Can I just say the spice in this was perfectly written, it didn't over power the sweet parts. It was just perfect in my opinion.

This book was just amazing. I absolutely cannot wait to dive into the rest of this series. If this isn't on your TBR, please add it. Teagan Hunter is officially an auto buy author for me.

i loved them ur honor 4.5

Both Auden and Hutch are career driven and looking to stay single. Because of a business deal with her company being involved with his team, they shouldn't be hooking up. But they fall for each other anyway.

What I liked, she was even more successful than he was. The misunderstanding that he thought she was a nobody while he was a big hockey star.

What I didn't like she gave up everything for him and she did the chasing to repair the relationship while he walked away to put his career first and did no grovelling when she came to win him back.

2.75 ⭐️

Very surface level book and unimpressive writing. A lot of scenes that just straight out made me cringe, specially the fact that it was the team mates that solved the "misunderstanding" and not the couple itself ??? Communication is dead, it can't come to the phone right now ☠️

I feel like I can't read any more of these sports romances with the 7 or 8 guys from the team that are always in the main character's business - it's just plain lazy writing, trying to fill pages with unnecessary dialogues between all of them. What could've been 200 pages is suddenly 330 pages.

I still appreciated some aspects of it, I liked their banter as a couple and how they progressed, also they back story, but there were just too many things that didn't work out for me in this book...

Cute Story

The book is cute, had some fun aspects. It lacked a wow factor and felt a bit like a “recipe” book. Not the sass and wit I normally expect out of this author.

Also sort of a weird wrap up that actually made Hutch look like he genuinely did not care at all about her. He chose to do literally nothing?? His friends help him out drastically and then it’s all on her to go get him back even though she did this drastic thing out for the blue after he ghosted her….
Fox sounds fun though so I’m excited for what I hope is Lilah and Fox
