This book was well researched. It contains a multitude of practical advice and is an excellent read for anyone looking to change careers. But I only rated 3 stars because frankly it was boring !

Good and idiosyncratic. I don’t know that I can apply it directly but if nothing else it suggests some different possible angles and ways of thinking. The author seems like someone that you could have a very interesting and wide-ranging conversation with.

A short read but worth the time. Ways of thinking about work and ways to explore thinking about what work could be.

Lots of food for thought - what makes work fulfilling, how to explore what that might mean for you, and a really good section on reframing what is important. In "The Longing for Freedom" Krznaric suggests ways to redefine "having it all". That chapter is worth a read even for people who are happy in their jobs.
It didn't work as well for me as a "how to" book but did offer a good framework for thinking about next steps in my career.
