The many descriptions of pedophilia and sexual assault of minors that continue throughout the book. After learning that the author himself proposed to a 13 year old girl (18 himself), whom he married years later, I was too grossed out to finish the book.

A pesar de ser un clásico que quise amar, ni el conocer al icónico Macondo ni a las leyendas de la familia Buendía lograron encantarme como lo ha logrado con gran parte del mundo. 

Este libro es indiscutiblemente centrado mas en los personajes que en cualquier tipo de trama. Normalmente, esto es una plusvalía para mí en los libros, pero en este caso en el que los personajes son complejos pero tan desagradables (y no en esa manera que me hace amarlos más) solo he hecho la lectura de apenas la mitad del libro un gran tedio. 

Por otro lado, la narración de Juan Pablo Raba me ha parecido bastante buena.

No se puede negar que el estilo con el que escribe García Marquez es maravilloso pero
la forma en la que describe la sexualidad de sus personajes, sobretodo las mujeres no me la puedo tomar encerio. También hay demasiado incesto para mí gusto personal.

Al principio me esforcé por avanzar con la historia, no lo deje a la mitad porque sentia la obligación de leer este clásico que todo el mundo adora.

I honestly don't know what to rate this, this was one of the most painful books I've ever had to read. Like, I get it's about multigenerational trauma and breaking cycles and learned behaviors but it was still so... Rough to read.
All the incest and pedophilia and stuff with shit in it was too much for me.
