An interesting and in-depth exploration of how the unconscious and unconscious influence each other to modify our acts, across the distant and recent past, present and future.
The research of the author and others helps the reader understand the ways the unconscious interacts with, and influences the conscious actions we think we have more control over. We really do have to be more careful about what we wish for.

I enjoyed the psychology of the unconscious choices we make. Would recommend it for readers who enjoy psychology. As an avid nonfiction/self-help reader who has read books like Power of Habit, there were many concepts, however that were not new to me.

really useful to deeply understand the mechanisms of how our mind works "behind our backs" without being too scientific and notion-based. a good deal of humour mixed with facts from scientific researches explained with a language easily understandable by anyone without a psychological background. 10/10 would recommend to convince yourself that shopping therapy doesn't work effectively but you'll continue to do it anyway
