Tempting the Player is book 4 in the Campus Wallflowers series. This is a forbidden/bodyguard romance. This story is full of tension, a protective alpha male, healing & drama. It's action packed with a swoon worthy hero and has so many feels. The chemistry between Jane and Hendrick is off the charts. I absolutely loved the dynamic between these characters as well as their found family that Rebecca always brings us. I can't wait to see what we get next.

Bodyguard romance
1/5🌶️
Jane just wanted the regular college experience, but after she decided to out herself as a former TV star, she starts getting weird threats so her parents send her this undercover bodyguard, of course he is a hottie and she wants to get with him. Hendrick just wants to get his job done, but at the same time he cannot resist the pull to Jane.
This is a very cute romance with reconnection to family

Jane is the last of the Wallflowers to get her story, and in my opinion it was the best! A secret bodyguard, some suspense, and a whole lot of love!
Now, can we get more of the Holland brothers…preferably Knox?

I think this was my favorite book in this series but that might just be the recency bias talking. I loved the relationship between Jane and Hendrick, really enjoyed the peak at the rest of the Holland brothers, and will always love when forced proximity happens. I didn't guess the twist at the end so have to give it props for that. Overall, really great series!

i really like this in the beginning with the whole he’s her bodyguard but she doesn’t know, and then once they got together i got bored.. i ended up skipping the smut bc i just couldn’t deal with it. i was actually happy with she got drugged and kidnapped bc something was finally happening

i think this series is her whole friend group but im not wasting my time on it

I didn’t read the previous books in the series but the premise of him being her bodyguard without her knowing drew me to this one. It reminded me of the movie First Daughter which I loved growing up. However, there wasn’t much else that this book has going for it with the exception of Hendrick’s brothers. I loved them. But other than that, there was very little plot, the two MCs didn’t have much chemistry, and I wish there was more angst between the two, especially with him being her bodyguard.
