Largely a fluff piece, the book did have a good bit of advice for a long term relationship: the person you are with should be comfortable to be with, but not so comfortable that you stop bothering.

At a time when I felt like I was struggling a bit in my own relationship, that particular insight struck a nerve and provided some useful guidance.

I do rather love this story. Witty, charming, believable...and I want her life!

Honestly, I'm having trouble explaining my thoughts without giving away the plot, but having loved the first book and thought the second was a satisfactory sequel, Melissa seemed to do a complete about face from her character in the previous two. I'm always sceptical of sequels - how do you carry on after the obligatory "Happy ending" (in this type of book at any rate) and in this case, I really think the author should've left well alone. Having read and re-read the first book over and over, I almost can't bear to read it anymore I'm so grumpy!

A fun read with entertaining characters, though a bit predictable. I definitely liked the first book of the series the best.

The blurb;
Melissa makes her living solving other people’s problems. But now she’s up to her stocking-tops in dilemmas of her own.
Jonathan, her perfect fiancé, cant wait for them to settle down. In Paris. But she can’t possibly leave the thriving Little Lady Agency – her business dedicated to the delicate are of Making Men Better- Or can she?
Meanwhile her eccentric family want her to run their lives and it’s testing her limitless patience. As is organising her best friend’s wedding and recruiting a nice girlfriend for her flatmate, Nelson.
Even her beloved grandmother wants a favour – though she’d rather Mel saw it as the case of a lifetime – reforming an outrageous, gorgeous, playboy prince. Should be all in a day’s work for the Little Lady...
Can Mel rise to the challenge of reforming Prince Charmless? Will the Little Lady Agency survive? And – at the end of it – what does she really want?

My thoughts;
Now, those of you that have been reading my book reviews will know that I really am not the kind of person to read a love story. Don’t get me wrong. I love the films – Pride and Prejudice, Bridget Jones’ diary – I love a good swoon. And, although I’ve reviewed quite a few on here already, those have been for college purposes, this was a pleasure read. And it really, really was a pleasure.
This book also goes under the name of The Little Lady Agency and the Prince a bit confusing when searching to buy! And I also found out that it is the third in a series. I’m not usually one to read a series out of order, but this was a library book. However, now that I have read it I will be jumping straight onto Amazon and doing a book order!
The story focuses around Melissa and her business – the Little Lady Agency- an ironic name she has taken from her youth. Though the idea of the business is slightly out there, it works! As we’re introduced to the other characters of the story, we begin to get a feel for what has been happening recently in Mel’s life. Now, when I was first introduced to the character of Nelson, I have to admit... I thought he was gay. I mean, he’s there for her to vent her frustrations, is helping her wedding plan, keeps an annoying clean apartment, takes a wine tasting class AND cooks dinner every night for her... too good to be true? Apparently not, and I was proven horribly wrong when it proved he was in fact looking for a girlfriend. There are a few bumps in the road between the characters of Nelson and Melissa but it just makes the story that little bit more exciting!
Mel’s fiancé, Jonathan, is well, perfect. His dashing good looks, American accent and love for romance is everything you could ever dream of in a man and it seems that Melissa is the luckiest person in the world. However, he lives in Paris with his company, she live in London. Will it last? Well, there relationship is certainly put to the test!
And finally, who I would say to be the most important character. Prince Nicolas. Or Nicky for short. In this novel, he certainly is the ‘bad boy’ figure, the one you love to hate. But on our first meeting, he is beyond rude, and it makes you worried for how men really see women nowadays. But, having the silently worrying fetish for these bad boys that insult, openly flirt and embarrass the females around them that I have, I certainly fell for this character. Oh yes. I can say that a few chapters in, every time he was around, I was more than swooning. His party prince persona is not a deception, but it certainly is attractive. However, can Melissa tame this character? And what will happen between them.
I found that this novel was extremely well written and I enjoyed it so much that I plan on reading it at least once more before I have to return it! this slightly unrealistic storyline takes you down a road with so many twists and tumbles that you honestly cannot predict what will happen next! I find this to be very rare within a novel, too often I find them so very predictable, especially with love stories. This is a story that I would recommend to anyone looking for a good romance novel and I really couldn’t put it down. Now that I know there are two other books in the series I will definitely be buying them. But back to this novel. I would score it a five out of five, I seem to be doing this a lot at the moment, so maybe I’ll have to change the rating system to out of ten! Haha! In that case, this would certainly get a ten as well!
I’ll be getting the other two books soon, so if you enjoyed this review, wait around for the next two books!

I'll leave it at this: This is one of the most disappointing endings I've read in recent memory. I just can't. I won't.

2.5 stars. Better than the second book, not as good as the first. However, it was a nice conclusion to the series. Melissa's family though is just so painful to read about. I would prefer a bit more of a subtle brush instead of them being so completely awful.

I had this book on my TBR shelf for close to two years. I would start to read it and get bored and stop. Finally, I had to make myself suck it up and just read it. It was ok, parts were cute and parts were funny, but mostly I was annoyed. The one thing I really enjoyed about it was
SpoilerMelissa and Jonathon FINALLY broke up! Man, I could not stand that guy!
Otherwise, it was just meh.
