I read all 3 books in this series. When I started this book and none of the main characters were in it, it didn't suck me in then I realized Christian played a small roll and I was hooked. Something about it I couldn't put down. Dean was by fav my fav make of this series. The bad boy rocker but not bad. I couldn't get enough of him and his sarcastic comment.

For three years Mackenzie Phillips has been numb, her whole life had been ripped from her with one tragic event. After losing her father, Mackenzie finds herself at ground zero and having to pull herself up and make a life for herself. Maybe the key to it all is not thinking, it is in that moment Mackenzie applies for a job as a private chef on tour with a rock band. As frightened as she is when she gets the job, Mackenzie throws her heart into it.
The first time she meets lead singer Dean Johnson she thinks he hates her. She doesn't know the first thing about Dean but as she begins to find out more her whole opinion of him changes. If Mackenzie can move on from the past she may just find something special in front of her.
I loved Dean, he skyrocketed to favorite hero within meeting him. I wasn't sure about Mackenzie initially she kind of is a venter in the beginning but you get why, she is so afraid and had been so withdrawn with in herself she could barely function. I found myself wrapped up in a beautiful story and eagerly looking forward to more books from this talented author.
