What a perfect ending to a simply beautiful series.
Samantha never fails to make me connect with her heroines. I feel as if she's climbed inside my head and written my thoughts and feelings in her female leads. These books hold a special place in my heart.

Coffee dates with Moonlight on Nightingale Way

  • First Date: Ooo we begin with wicked banter and snark. I am dancing a little I love these hater begins, it leads to heat. Logan is drop dead gorgeous and I've been waiting for his story. Since I have known him since Echoes of Scotland Street, I am willing to ignore his man-whore ways on our first date. I know what lies beneath and I am not talking about his killer abs. Logan is starting over and life looks good. He has a good paying job, has paid for his mistakes and it totally making up for lost time with all sorts of extracurricular activity. All of which has cast him in a bad light with his sexy, uptight neighbor Grace. Grace is normally soft spoken but her new neighbor has her verbally sparing with him. I am hooked folks. Hooked! These two are destine to dance and it is going to be wicked.

  • Second Date: Life is about to throw Logan a curve-ball and somehow Grace finds herself assisting him and the more Logan steps up the harder Grace falls. I will not tell you what the curveball is because well, spoilers’ darling. I will tell you it is sweet, complicated, and wonderful. If I had a soft spot for Logan before I am a puddle on the floor at this point. I love the friendship that begins to develop between Logan and Grace. It feels natural and allows them to really see the other. The complication adds interest, awe moments and stole my heart. We get some heat and it was deliciously hot.

  • Third date: Fear, the past, and emotional scars have these two tip toeing around their feelings. Trust is a major factor and we have to go through some growing pains. I loved the reasons Logan stepped back and totally respect them but dang if I was not reaching for truffles and flipping pages hoping things worked out. I want to pause in my date to mention I love that this relationship is slow building and that friends and family are weaved into the tale. I love these characters and never want my date to end.

Aye! This book was bloody awesome! It's hard to talk just about Logans and Graces story when the whole familiy is in it. And that ending! I'm just so satisfied. I'm sad that it's all over now but I feel at peace beacuse Samantha wrote such an perfect ending to it. If you loved the series you kind of feel like a part of the family, too.

This was a really good ending to the series. I will admit personally, I could have done without the epilogues of EVERYONE, and just had Grace's, which I adored as the end, but I also get why it was there to tied everyone off and show where they were all at.

I really loved this story, even when I thought a few things could have just not happened, and I finally got over disliking Shannon, although the birthday scene annoyed me a little (they may have brutally hurt you, but they are his parents too and others don't have to hate people because you do) and I absolutely adored Maia. She really made the story that much better. I loved seeing her connect with Grace, and lastly I love that Grace wasn't judgemental of Logan's prison time even when she didn't know what it was for and stood her ground when the neighbour was looking to talk shit about him and get him kicked out. It was nice seeing her stand up for what she believed in throughout this book when she thought she wasn't confrontational. I also loved how Logan was so responsible towards Maia once he made that choice. He could have gone and beat that guy and he thought about her first which I really loved. I also loved the line where he included not losing Grace and not just Maia if he fought him, it was adorable!

Also irgendwie ... ich möchte Logan nicht, konnte keine Verbindung mit ihm aufbauen und die Story an sich war jetzt auch nicht so der Hammer.

I really do love this series. There are so many wonderful characters. I loved seeing them surround Grace and bring her into their fold. These are all strong women and they are their for each other. They can all stand on their own, but are the better for the men in their lives. Logan struggles to really believe that he deserves to be happy after everything that's gone on in the past. While everyone around him understands what occurred he has a hard time forgiving himself. The appearance of a daughter he didn't know he had throws him completely for a loop. But, what started out as a slightly contentious neighborly battle between two people becomes the most stable thing in his life as Grace steps in while he's reeling and shows him what more there can be.

I loved this story. I loved how Grace and Logan circled around each other and the little bit of snark in how things began. But, how both of them stepped up with Logan's daughter needed them was just lovely. I've been reading this series for years and I've loved it all.

Una serie veramente molto carina. Mi dispiace di averla interrotta e di aver fatto passare troppo tempo prima di continuarla e finirla.
