I'm giving this 5 stars because I thought the story was cute and the pictures as well. I have yet to see a child read this but I'm sure they will be able to read it properly. And, if they can't, they have mom, dad, grandma, grandpa, sister and brother or aunt and uncle and so on to teach them when they get to that word.

This series is planned to go into my library and I'm hoping that my nephews and niece will come around and pick them up when they are ready to read.

A young boy leaves his house to find a pet...and runs right into a fly! The boy, Buzz, is determined to make this fly his pet and takes him home. Buzz eventually convinces his parents and even the judges at a Pet Show that Fly Guy is a great pet.

A beginning-to-read book that is great for any child that likes icky things!

This one was on my son's summer reading list for incoming 2nd graders. It was a pretty quick read with only a few chapters. He enjoyed it and is looking forward to reading more in the series.
