This was shaping up to be a cute lil three star read but that godforsaken third act breakup reared its ugly head. Several chapters of an FMC droning on and on about a known crime lord doing crime lord shit THAT SHE WAS ALREADY PRIVY TO 95% OF really crumbled my cookie to smithereens. An editor really needs to clean this up because this is a common theme throughout the book. The FMC is said to have perfect recall and yet she’ll remark on information she learned in previous interactions as if she’s never heard it before. Having a character with a perfect memory does not work if you the author aren’t going to be diligent. Also, near future epilogues should be abolished. If you’re not going to set that bad boy years after the end of the last chapter then keep it. Six months down the line is another chapter in the story NOT an epilogue. This is not a book i would revisit.

I enjoyed this book so much.
There’s suspense, sexiness, a mafia bad boy and a kickass young lady.
I adored Mikhail and Aria.
They had the perfect push and pull together. Amazing chemistry. And both are strong characters.
Aria is such an interesting character. Works at a community college by day.
And at night she comes out to play. No not in the way you’re thinking lol.
She’s an absolute beast when it comes to hacking.
She rules that domain.
And it was so much fun getting to see her in her element and besting the men.
Aria is also down on her luck in many ways. But read the book to find out all the details.
She’s sweet, kind and loyal. But she’s also courageous and intelligent.
Mikhail is the new pakhan of the Romanov family.
He’s ruthless, without mercy and deadly.
He’s also loyal and extremely protective of his family. He takes his role as their guardian and protector very seriously.
And he’s also in need of a wife. Enter Little Hacker.
I enjoyed their banter and laughed at Aria’s inner monologue.
Let me tell you these two are so dynamic together. In and out of the bedroom.
Between the sheets they are sizzling hot and steamy.
Working together they are a dynamic duo and unstoppable.
I loved that!
I enjoyed the Romanov family dynamics as well. They are organized, each have their own strengths, and contribute in what they are skilled at. But what they all have in common is their fierce commitment and loyalty to each other.
Yea so looking forward to more from these sexy Russian bad boys

I finished it..
Have you ever listened to a child talk about a story and all of a sudden you go "wait wait wait.. how did we get here??" That's how this book felt. I'm all for fast paced but not when I feel like I'm missing the meat of the story. It definitely needed to be fleshed out. The synopsis is stating the FMC needs protection because people are after her.. and true she does.. but then nothing ever happens with that.. that part of story magically disappears and the MMCs problem takes over and that wasn't a very good plot to be honest.. and then throw a last minute twist with Tatiana that really didn't need to be in there unless there was going to be more to it other than "I'm upset and I'm leaving" and then 2 seconds later "I love him and can't leave". The dialogue felt choppy.. the brothers had really little to do in this book and it didn't make me feel the need to read the other books. And to top it off there was really no connection I felt between then MCs.

I didn't like the MMC in the beginning but his possessiveness grows on you. The FMC was a bit annoying and jumped to conclusions. The storyline was a bit odd and had some strange fall off points. Overall, it wasn't bad.

Dark mafia will always be one of my favorite tropes, and this author is the Queen!
Aria is a hacker who needs protection, and Mikhail is the head of the Bratva who needs a wife. The chemistry between them is off the charts from the start, and I didn't want to put this book down for a second. Sovereign is full of all the twists and turns, and I can't wait for whatever is coming next in The Cove and the Wicked Vows series!

Perfectly fine nothing special. The ending felt a bit abrupt to me which I’m never a fan of, but it probably has to do with certain plots extending into future books. There was really nothing wrong with this book it was just meh.

Sexy, sexy read.
Aria is a hacker who has unearthed some unsavory information about some very powerful men, so she goes on the run. She runs to a friend who suggests a solution: go to Mikhail Romanov, nthe new head of the Romanov family. What Aria doesn't know is that Mikhail needs a bride, quickly.
Mikhail convinces Aria to marry him in exchange for his protection. She is also required to fulfill her "wifely duties." I want to fulfill wifely duties with Mikhail. He is dominant, hot, and sexy AF.
Throughout the book, Aria is being hunted by the original baddies AND now Mikhail's cousin's people (he wants to lead the family). Mikhail spends his time protecting her and, well, not sleeping. Mikhail soon realizes that Aria is wicked smart, but she makes some dumb decisions. While he's working through that, she becomes close to his sister and mother. There's drama and an HEA.
This is another case of a book with rich side characters. I'm going to need books for Mikhail's brothers and sister, please.
There's quite a bit of violence, but it's not a particularly heavy book. I thoroughly enjoyed it as a good, easy read.

i love a hacker FMC almost as much as i love a mafia man. this book gives touch her and die vibes and i hate everyone but you. something about a bratva man who can be so sweet to his wife just really does it for me
