Trigger warnings: pregnancy loss and addiction.
This was my first book by Marian Keyes and it took me a while to get into it but I quite enjoyed it in the end.
Rachel is an addiction counsellor, working in a rehab centre. She is herself an addict who has been in recovery for 20 years. As her path crosses that of her ex-husband after 7 years, her life is turned upside down.

This is my second Marian Keyes book and to my surprise she is becoming a fast favourite of mine!!

This book was simply a delight to read, it genuinely made me laugh out loud and I felt like Rachel was a friend from page 1. I loved every character in the book and all of their quirks.

Rachel’s story was so heartbreaking but somehow told in such a feel-good way. I love a long book and loved spending so much time with the characters. Exploring Rachel’s life (past and present) as she unpacks it kept me engaged throughout and I am so glad that there is a second book!!

I loved this book. Not super fan of the first Rachel book, but this is great. Such a bittersweet story, when it started to get going I couldn’t put it down. Not a five ⭐️ because I found the bits from the work a bit boring, too many characters that I wasn’t invested in. It is enough characters with the Walsh clan!

I've been hearing what a wonderful writer Marian Keyes is for years and always resisted reading her. Stuck with a limited selection on holiday I finally picked up Again, Rachel and what a wonderful book, I was gripped from the start. Really nice characters who you want to like and get invested in. Difficult topics broached in a beautiful way.
