Enjoyed the books in the series so far, but the reader made this audio book almost impossible to read! Her character voices/accents are in consistent, preposterous and tiresome, and this book was the final straw! I could hardly tolerate her mispronunication of scones (as scons). This will be the last book of the series that I listen to since she is the reader for all the books of the series. The books themselves are fun, interesting and fast paced.

Quilt Lovers Weekend is only three weeks away and Daisy Swanson is deep in planning for the event with other small business owners in their small town in PA Amish country. Not the best time for her best friend, Tessa, to be suspected of the murder of her boyfriend and art gallery owner, Reese. Daisy co-owns a tea shop with her aunt and getting that business off the ground and tending to her teenage daughters already keep her hopping. Initially, I found the story heavy with backstory, so much that I thought the series was further along than only the second book. However, the characters and story totally won me over. These are honest-to-God real people that I want to meet up with again.

Thanks to netgalley and the publisher for the opportunity to read this book in exchange for an honest review.

Loved it

I really like this series. Daisy's best friend Tess is accused of murder when her boyfriend is killed. Things look bad for her and Daisy snoops again and is almost killed for her troubles. I like her relationship with Jonas. I also like her struggle with her mom and sister. Once again I felt killer was easy to spot but still loved it.

The first 3/4 of the book was GRIPPING! I couldn't put the book down! It's been a while since a cozy has done that to me. I am starting to feel like everyone at the Tea Garden is like my family, and I can't wait to get into the next in the series.

I liked the story, however, struggled with the narrator, as there are words mispronounced...at least according to how I know they are pronounced! This was rubbing on my nerves.

What a lovely story! I'm enjoying this series greatly so far, and looking forward to book #3 when it comes out.
