Very interesting and at some points hard to put down. I can’t imagine the amount of trauma and suffering that the author must have gone through. A great read.

I started reading this as fiction and didn’t realize it wasn’t until the very end. Still it was dark and depressing and I just didn’t care about the murdered woman or her daughter, the narrator. She seems very stuck in the murder of her mother when she was 12, and I guess that’s normal and since that is what the book is about ok.

A very well-written book that had me glued to the pages throughout! What a traumatic event to witness and then dive deeper into.
