A good adventure, with a fun psychic twist, but without too much hokeyness.

There was a lot of violence, but overall, the story is interesting, with kids being held hostage so their fathers will follow orders from an evil guy working for someone powerful.

I don't like the villain POV, but as it went, this was well done. I really like the SEAL team, and the other characters, and I also like the strong women involved, who didn't just freeze and wait to be rescued.

Sometimes so much was going on, I lost track of which character was doing what, big it wasn’t a big deal, the story came together well. I also like that justice was done to the men who raped the women they kidnapped.

I'll definitely be looking for the next books in the series.

I don’t read many MF books because I give up on them early. This one did not have an annoying MC even though he was an alpha male. And though some things of Beth annoyed me, she was not a weak female needing saving. The mystery/suspense storyline sucked me in. I can’t wait to read the next one.

I have to say when I read some of the reviews I was thinking "It can't be that action packed, nobody writes like that", however I'm thoroughly impressed. All that action, some paranormal insight, fated romance, and a cast of characters with a sense of humor... Love it! Of all the books I've read this one is the epitome of Murphy's Law, and I loved every page of it. Definitely going to be getting the paperback version of the book when it comes out, to add it to my official library. Can't wait for the next book in this series!

Great Beginning

Loved this military romance with a paranormal twist. That it’s not only the heroine that has an ability but so does the hero. Seeing them work together to solve navigate through this sticky situation had me jumping for joy. I can’t wait to listen to the rest of the series.

I expected a romance but instead I got a paranormal 'crime'/romance novel which was a pleasant surprise.

This is not my kind of book. It was my first read of the "military alpha male" erotica genre, and I'll be sure to avoid them in the future. I chose it because of the 4.5 rating on Amazon. I'll cross-check the Goodreads ratings first from now on - I hate giving bad reviews. In a nutshell, this book is comprised of a high number of military buzz words and cursing, far fetched coincidences (beyond the usual amount), high levels of testosterone, and little action in the romance department. The character development was about average. You're left knowing that another book will follow. What I (somewhat) liked about the book was the interesting plot. The concept of 2 people who find each other through psychic abilities was unique to me. Also, once you get to the actual love scene, it's written nicely. However, I almost quit reading halfway through the book - I was so bored and tired of military jargon being thrown into every other sentence. I'm glad I endured, though - the second half of the book is much better than the first. In general, I like erotica books with alpha males. This is just not my cup of tea.
