I have loved Ranger since the first duology in this interconnected world and when I learned that this one was going to be about his sister I couldn't wait for it to come out. I loved whenever he appeared in this one or was talked about. Plus I liked seeing the journey here because we start the book out in Vegas while she's working in the High Roller Club and then end in Virginia where the duology takes place and Ranger lives. It was one of my favorite books in this series but it does leave me with some questions and I'm curious if Sparrow and her guys pop up in Ranger's book at all.

Really likable characters and MMCs who all put the MFC first no matter what. Plot was a good but not super expansive, definitely more character driven and sort of continuing the story from assurance security series, I'd definitely recommend reading the books in the order the author suggests.
