There was a little too much shoving in response to every angry moment in this book, which may be useful if your child has a violence/temper problem, but mine rarely shoves, hits, etc; I was afraid it might actually make her begin to associate anger with the physical, even while trying to persuade against it.

I wish the example they had given of lying was a little more of a "lie" rather than an omission. I like that it acknowledges that fear is one of the primary reasons a child lies.
