This was such a bad series. Charles Soule has much more talent than is on display here. There are a couple of interesting ideas but they don't play out well at all. The Death Of Wolverine storyline fizzled and this companion piece is a struggle. There were tons of different artists throughout and they were rarely on the same page. Sadly, I felt that Soule was the same way. Plot points come and go. Mystique, trying everything in her power to reunite with her love is fine, throwing in Fang, Blade, Man-Thing, and a handful of other terrible ideas was awful. The writer never made of the new characters matter (sentient fox?) and they made the book much worse. As mentioned, the art was all over the place, but for the most part pretty bad. I'm happy this ended. Overall, very skippable.
