I don't care how simple and cheesy this is, I absolutely loved it!

*3.5* Pure smut with a dash of plot. As one of the characters in this book so eloquently said "It sounds like the plot of a crazy science fiction porno."

✔️Single mother
✔️Neurodivergent adorable son
✔️Fierce warrior with a beast inside
✔️Super tame "rough" bedplay
✔️Virgin H

Aliens capture the H and h and force them to demonstrate procreation. Except they don't realize they've abducted a human woman and a Kindred male.

It was good cheesy fun and the narration by McKenzie Cartwright was excellent. Can be read as a standalone.

Hail is a Dark Kindred who doesn't believe he will ever have a mate. Part of his DNA is Bolaxian Beast which can get quite enthralled with breeding lust. Believing he would hurt his mate he doesn't seek one out but when he is asked to escort human Isosbel Yates to the mother ship, his emotions want more from her. It is an unfamiliar feeling but he wants Isobel and to help raise her son. However Isobel believes she needs to put her son first after her ex was cruel to them both but mostly her autistic son. What happens though when their flight goes awry and Isobel sees how protective Hail is of her?

There is a lot more to this but didn't want to put to many spoilers out. I liked this one quite a bit. I thought Isobel was what every mom should be. Hail is intriguing and I liked how his back story unfolded. Another great read from the Kindred series.

Short and sizzling, I love this series. Isobel is a divorcee who has escaped an abusive relationship and fled across the country with their son. Hail is a dark kindred sent to pick her up to visit her friend on the mother ship. There is an instant connection when meeting as they have been dreaming about each other.
I love how this story unfolded, two totally opposite people coming together. As well as the sensitivity of touching on a boy with Autism.
So beautiful, I highly recommend it.

I don’t normally write reviews. But this novella was horrible. No real plot development. It felt written only for horribly written sex scenes. Big waste of my time.

Bonding with the Beast -- Evangeline Anderson -- Isobel Yates is a single mom of a little boy on the spectrum. Brandon is bright, but Autism wasn't something her ex husband was willing to learn to have a relationship with his son. When Mitch got violent, Isobel got them out. When an alien version of Marine Special Forces named Commander Hail shows up to escort Isobel into space to see her friends on a space station, Isobel, Hail, and Brandon all confess to having seen each other in dreams. Apparently, aliens have a matchmaking goddess. When Hail and Isobel bond in traumatic circumstances, Hail runs scared. But when he senses that something is not right on Earth, is he going to be in time to save Isobel and Brandon? I've never been big on aliens, but this was well done if a little weird! Happy Reading!
