An enjoyable addition to the series, and considering it's Hinako Takanaga, refreshingly enough no non- or dub-con. I like the setting, and I'm looking forward to reading the sequel. Not a big fan of the fact that they translated -san as Herr and such, but I guess it can't be helped sometimes.
lighthearted medium-paced

"Kimi ga Koi ni Midareru" is your run-of-the-mill yaoi manga. The story follows Kijima who gets involved with an artist named Ichikawa.

The art is a bit above standard for yaoi, the characters all look different and attractive while the fashion style is on point.

My main issue with this manga, including the second volume, is the lack of plot. There's an attempt to tell a story but it has no depth. A few plot points could elevate the stakes, but in the end, nothing happens.

Regarding this volume, the pacing is very weird. I wish it would be a little more consistent because there are moments that made thought "Oh, this could be interesting.

The worst part of the book was the translation, it was really bad. They tried to keep the flowery language but it ended sounded so forced it was hard to follow.

Overall, I wish it was more consistent, the art is the saving grace of this one.
