Sweet Start

I love that Lucy Score did a great job of settling the initial setup for a series. I'm already invested in Jax and Joey and the teaser for Beckett has be excited for his story as well.

This was such a sweet book and I absolutely loved it! The small rural town of Blue Moon Bend was adorable with all of its quirky residents, and then there are the Pierce boys! Carter is the wounded but healing hero with a sensitive side and appreciation of nature, the diplomatic and responsible Beckett, and the charismatic but slightly irresponsible Jax. Summer is a fantastic character herself, the type-A reporter from Manhattan that finds herself falling in love with Blue Moon, and a certain sexy farmer, after doing an article on the Pierce Family Farm. She’s afraid to open herself to love, and deviate from her carefully curated plans of future career path, but learns that those carefully laid out plans, might not actually what she needs in life and learns the importance of having a good support group and learning to let others in and be open to love.

This book was emotionally touching at times and deliciously spicy at others, but overall warmed my heart and kept me glued to the pages!

A big thanks to NetGalley for a copy of this book!
