Lighthearted, funny, and entertaining story with an endearing alien. Several plot holes but this isn't a book to be taken too seriously. I could have done without the romance. While the last quarter of the book felt a bit boring and dragging, the ending felt rushed.

Serena, you mother of all airheads.
This whole book was so unserios.
starting from the very beginning where she gets abducted by a tumbleweed and straight up assumes that it is an alien, to the ungodly speed of how quickly Wade go involved, and how fast they managed to figure out the other species rules and stuff. Within like a span of an hour they had everything figured out.
Not to mention the romance thing. Let's stay married because otherwise this dude might come back and get in trouble 😅
Its the type of books I know I don't like reading, it read like a comedy, and it's just not my jam.
Why pick this one you might ask? Well, because of the title. I'm a suckee for Roswell.
And it is one of the better ones I've read.
Also, if you gonna read it, be sure to watch every single movie about aliens to get all of the references.
They for sure were some alien obsessed crazies.

Light and entertaining. Not Connie Willis's best book, but even the books that aren't her best are still a lot of fun.

This was adorable and light hearted fun. Indy is one of my favorite alien designs.

A lighthearted roadtrip with a lovable alien, oddly retro, amusing a times but best not to examine the logic too closely. Enjoyable.
