Wtf did I read?? Cole is a psychopathic serial killer with no backstory and weird attachment issues. How did I get 30% through the book and there hadn’t been an interaction between Cole and Mara. Mara is just dumb. I wish I didn’t buy this book based on the cover because the cover is stunning but the book and writing is so bad!!

Um... it was a book..? I don't really have much to say. I personally didn't enjoy it. But maybe you will.
Cole is a serial killer artist who discovers Mara and he becomes obsessed with her. So there's that.

I liked this book, however, I encourage people to proceed to read with caution. Heed my trigger warning. This book took turns I wasn’t expecting, and I found myself fairly disturbed at the beginning. I also found it hard at first to connect with our male leading character, Cole, as he proved to be no more than an arrogant bastard. However, near the end, he truly seem to have a glow up as he got to know Mara and he began to feel emotions that he hadn’t ever experienced in the past. Overall, I liked this book and I’m excited to read the second one, but I definitely encourage you to do your research before you read it.
