I stumbled across this book and soon realized I had previously watched the movie. 

The movie was a bit on the cheesy side but I enjoyed the plot and the story it told. I expected the book to have the same feel the movie did. However, I was a bit dismayed when cursing began to make an appearance since I hadn't heard any in the movie and expected this to be a clean book. 

I only got a few pages in before I decided it wasn't worth my time.
