the angst was...a bit too much at times - they broke up like 100000 times but whatever. but it was still quite realistically presented. very happy about the ending, good for them :)

I really enjoyed this volume. I plan on continuing. There was a scene that made me uncomfortable and very concerned.
The characters had already established a sexual relationship. But when someone says no it means no. One of the characters kept saying no over and over and the other character continued. As a result, the character left very distraught and upset as one does when basically sexually assaulted. Then that part was never addressed again after a small apology over text.
I know things in these genres can be very problematic at times. I just hope this doesn't happen again in a later volume.

Great art buuuuuut... A very unhealthy relationship. Some scenes of dubious to no consent that shouldn't be translated as a loving or consensual. :(

i don't think i'll continue this series, the ending felt really resolved for me so i don't see the need to keep reading but I thought it was pretty entertaining.

I would have liked this a great deal more if not for the truly WTF scene in the middle where the main characters have a physical fight and then, as far as I could interpret it, one rapes the other. Spelling that out makes me want to drop it to one star, but I’m assuming there are cultural and genre norms that I’m not tuned into, and, absent that short sequence, I would have cheerfully given it 4 for being a fairly sweet, if unimaginative, love story.
