What I Liked
1) The art style is amazing and really brings the story to life. I've checked out the artists site and I'm definitely buying prints from them. I love how it feels like you're reading a fairy-tale book because of the mix of text and illustrations.

2) If you want to read a romance but not commit to a full book, I feel this novella is perfect to get a satisfying story while remaining short.

3) The creatures in this book are absolutely adorable

What I Disliked
1) The romance was cute but ultimately the story just felt ok. Without the art and unique formatting I think the story would have been lacking.

Overall, if the format of this book intrigues you I would recommend you pick it up and I would read more illustrated books by this author. I also saw they made a colouring book for some scenes on their website and it looks so cute.

The best thing about this book are the illustrations, which are very pretty. The hardcover edition is beautiful as well. The story..... is serviceable.
Very cooky-cutter characters, very little development and very previsible story.
I supported the book on kickstarter and it was a good investment, the authors have potential. But the book is in dire need of an editor and the story could have been much more engaging, because what little world building there is, is interesting.
I guess younger audiences will like it. It’s a sweet fairytale.
