Another sweet alien romance in this series! Kor is even more alien looking than the previous heroes because he is part Sand Sea and part Bitter Sea, whose people are more like dinosaurs or crocodiles. He is a big ol' cinnamon roll, though, and I'm so glad he was able to win over Zoey. 

Zoey is a Black woman and engineer. She's not as acclimated to the aliens since she stayed hidden in the space ship for a while. I wish she had been able to put her engineering skills to better use in this. 

This one has two virg1ns learning how to love each other while on a quest to ask Kor's father's people for help. 

I like how all these in the series have tied to together and the gradual world-building.
