Can't get into it. Might try again later.

Everyone has something to hide. In this house, the secrets are bigger than petty. Fun to see just which characters get readers' sympathy and for what. There are some decidedly squeamish bits that require some emotional distance but those are isolated.
I'll be reading more of this author.

Even though one of the plot twists was telegraphed well in advance, I still thoroughly enjoyed this book because of its engaging characters and the authors way of taking a well-worn plot line and making it fresh again. I'll definitely be reading more Alex Marwood books!

There were times I thought I weren't going to be able to finish this book, I don't often DNF, but this definitely ended up on that line. Like overall, it was enjoyable, but I don't feel like it's memorable at all, nor did I find it scary or creepy.

The pace felt all over the place too, sometimes it felt like nothing was happening, then everything at once, then nothing again.

Meh. The characters were well developed but the storyline lacked substance. I don't know what I was looking for, but it wasn't there.

When I picked this book up, I was looking for a page turning thriller but that’s not what I got. It’s the story of neighbors who rent rooms in a house because they have something to hide. They form a strange little alliance, not realizing one of them is a killer.

I found this book to have a predictable and plodding plot, undeveloped characters, and very little tension so it was a slow read for me. Other people have enjoyed it more than I have but it wasn’t a favorite of mine.

Niet slecht.. maar hij greep me ook niet echt! Het einde weer wel, maar daar heb ik mezelf wel naar toe moeten slepen :’)

The ending made the plodding through and disgusting things that happened worth it. Ha!

Brilliant! Must read. Stand alone, so order doesn't matter.
