NASTY. This book started super slow, so slow that I almost gave up on it. The multiple POVs was poorly executed for the first half of the book. The killer was extremely easy to identify, in fact the author didn’t even bother to give the reveal a climax. Somewhat likable main characters, though they randomly ditch one at the end. It was just okay overall.

I enjoyed this book a lot. It had a lot of elements that other thrillers tend to shy away from. This book was very graphic in terms of both sex and murder but Marwood did not pile on the graphicness in a way that made the book unappealing as a whole. If you want a good, spine tingling read and you can handle a bit of well-described gore and
voyeurism
then definitely check this one out.
