A book that I didn't initially realize was part of a series when I read it as a kid, but am now curious to find out what the rest of it is like. It's overall a fun gothic yarn for the little ones, and has a wallflower little girl growing into a more independent protagonist with the help of the friend that she makes. Would recommend!
