I can't help hearing Brandon, Lizzie, and Cristina's voices as if they're narrating the manga, too.

such a gorgeous cover.

Reread on 7/16/22:
These lady are scary as fuck, badass as fuck, and one of the most dangerous duos I've ever seen. That aside, the rest of the volume was extremely entertaining and fun. Loved it!

Original review on 1/1/22:
Wow, I would never, ever want to cross these two. Holy shit, these ladies are scary.

The conclusion to the last volume's case was satisfying and really showed what a threat Kotoko and Rikka are to each other. I really liked the archery competition and I never thought I would be interested in a case concerning a ghost giraffe, but I am SO intrigued. The pacing was really solid and the cases kept me engrossed from start to finish. A really solid volume that has me wanting more.

Another volume that is just intriguing enough to keep me going with this series. I think the main frustration I have is with the lack of character development with the two main characters--they are VERY static characters for the two main characters. However, the mystery stories are intriguing if sometimes overly convoluted, and they always end on a cliffhanger that I want to find out what will happen! Definitely interested to see how this volume's giraffe ghost plotline will turn out!
