Tessa Dare is always good for quick, funny banter. This one was no exception, but was a little too silly sometimes.
Audiobook narration: 5/5
Spice: 3/5 - open door, vague or euphemistic language
CW: parental death, childhood trauma, PTSD

I am normally a fan of the blue stocking/rake combo but this one just didn't do it for me. The emotional connection didn't seem very convincing and the section where he was mean to her (turning her into a prostitute) because she hurt his feelings was the point where I lost interest in them becoming a couple.

Spicy for sure. Really enjoyed the main characters and their development. I have no idea where I heard about this book, it just came in through Libby.
Graphic: Sexual content

Had to read this after hearing the Whoa!mance podcast episode. Tessa Dare is just the best.
