I plowed through this book - it's a really inspiring collection of wisdom and biographies of people who have used them and turned failure into great success in all areas of life, from business to personal finances to relationships.

Very interesting read. Steven Scott gave sound advise(wisdom) on King Solomon and his insights on work, health, your marriage, and other relationships. Whatever issue or adversary that you may be battling or encountering in life and you are looking for a solution to your problems the answers can be found in the book of Proverbs.

We finished it!! Finally!!! What a great little book. I definitely want to read it again. Soon.

I read this book aloud to my hubby. That is what took us so long. We had some great discussions because of reading this book and maybe our delays in reading the book were God designed.... or maybe not. :-)

Because of the suggestion by Dr. Gary Smalley to read Proverbs through a chapter a day each month for a year (or more), which he suggested to the author, which is why Steven Scott wrote this book, I have a notebook full of notes. I have also used some of the verses as memory verses this year.

What is the secret to success?? According to Steven Scott it is to read Proverbs and apply it's Wisdom to our lives. Proverbs is full of wisdom and Steven applied it to his life and now shares with us how to do the same. He talks about diligence, vision, hope, communicating, gratefulness, conflict, and of course wisdom and understanding and how to get them, and much more.

Marriage advice. I didn't expect to find marriage advice in this book about success, wealth and happiness, but I should have. It it important not only to have success in business but to have success in our personal lives as well. What good would it be to have wealth and a good business if your family life was falling apart. That wouldn't be very wise. Of course, I knew there was marriage advice in Proverbs, I just didn't expect it to be covered in this book.

I enjoyed this little book very much. Because of it I feel wiser, not just from reading the book but from the suggestion of reading Proverbs through every month. Even though some months I skipped a day, or two, or more. I gained a lot of wisdom from reading Proverbs and want to read the book of Proverbs at least a couple times each year. And, I want to read this book again by myself. I want to cement the information in my brain better and I want to read it more quickly so that the information stays together in my mind. Actually, I bought this book for my hubby and I would like a copy of my own so I can highlight it when I read it next time! :-)
