One of the stronger entries in the infamous series, Attack of the Mutant manages to nail the corny factor pretty much on the head. The story is all about comic books and superheroes, so this was a big hit back when I was reading this series as a kid. There's a pretty decent twist ending as well. All in all, a pretty fun read.

Good story, good twists, it felt like the ending began to really ramble though. Could have spent a few more pages to flesh out the climax.

3.75 Stars, this one was really fun! I loved the comic book characters and setting and once again the twists and turns got me. Fun times.

Once again I listened to the abridged version of this from the 90s so I'm sure there's some stuff I'm missing out on but I just really like listening to Goosebumps rather than reading them. Rounding up on this one because while I do think it was maybe a bit too silly for my personal taste I guess that does make sense for a story based around comic books and also it's a kids book so I know I'm not the target audience.

Ahaha, I felt bad for Wilson. His friend didn't want to see his stamps.

I can see how this one could be interesting to some people, but it’s not for me. I remember reading it when I was a kid and not being into it then either. It’s not that it’s bad, there’s just something about it that’s a miss, personally. I honestly can’t even figure out why.
The comic book idea was really cool, and the plot twists (yes, multiple) towards the end threw me. It’s a fun one.
