What a well written story about a strong woman that values family (mainly her brother) and wises up and dumps her douse of a BF. She gets mixes up in her brother’s mess and all heck breaks loose. A past friend saves her from her problem and she finds true love. Boy is the chemistry is hot between them.

I Haven't found one of her books I haven't loved. Love this book, it's short but was good.

This was a binge worthy read for me. I fell in love with the relationship of Chris and Charlie. If you don't love Chris by the end, even the middle of the book, then you weren't reading carefully. He knows what he wants and he goes for it. There are some possessive male tendencies as well as cycle tracking and breeding kink. Like I said, Chris knows what he wants and he was willing to do what he could to get it. Charlie was hesitant to get involved with Chris because he was a bit of a womanizer, but she soon learned he was worth the risk.
There was a lot of suspense and mystery involved in the main storyline. I felt the story flowed quite nicely and didn't feel rushed. I might have wanted to read more, but just so I could have more scenes of Chris being super romantic and caring towards Charlie.
This is connected to the Sinners Cove Series, but it is not necessary to read the series to understand this story. This was a book with a lot of spice. There are some cosplay scenes which I am sure some Star Wars fans would love.
Overall, I loved this story and I will be continuing to follow Elizabeth Bardot to see what else she has in store.

I was happy to return to Sinclair Bay and this story packs the usual action, twists & romance I’ve come to love from the author. I enjoyed Charlie & Chris’s story, I liked how Chris was a changed man after falling for Charlie and how he spent time showing her that. I enjoyed the way the relationship grew and how Charlie learnt to be loved and how to lean on Chris for support. Great read!

I don't like Elizabeth's writing style. I think she needs to look into getting an editor of some sort. Everything was very jumpy and I had a hard time keeping up.
