My first 5 star volume of this awesome manga. I have to give it up for one of the coldest kills ever committed by a manga character, seeing Killua silently rip out Johness' heart and crush it in his hand (uncensored unlike the anime) was so raw and incredibly illustrated. We got to see the beginnings of Kurapika's unbridled rage but also his strong morals, in sharp contrast to Leorio's brash impulsiveness. I also loved seeing Gon's brute force yet obviously clever solution to the last test of the third exam, and the setup to the fourth exam was exciting and made me want to see what happens next (despite the fact I know what happens as I've already seen the anime.)
