Absolutely freakin awesome!!!! I pretty much stayed up until 3am reading cause I just could not stop!

The beginning is super emotional, I had to take a short break because I could not read through the tears. it was a bit of a breakdown but fabulous at the same time. I just knew this book would be a rollercoaster.

I have loved Maddox since I met him. What can I say. I'm a sucker for the brooding types! And he is one angsty mofo!

I absolutely loved Ellis especially when she had those sparks of spunk! I can just see her attitude growing in future books! She really had such strength and will power to overcome her past.

The steam factor is moderate, only a couple full on hot and heavy scenes. But really there is so much great story here you hardly miss it. Terrific pacing all around.

Oh, Ms Ryan is a brilliant tease leaving us just enough breadcrumbs for the next two matings! I am on the edge of my seat and can not wait for those books. It will also be great to see what becomes of the war with the Centrals. Really fascinating story with so many wonderful twists.

really enjoyed this one. the work these two have to do is heart breaking but of course they figure it out. Ellie's growth is great. the overarching story is pushed forward. I am very interested in how this war progresses.

Ellie found herself and her strength through the course of this book and she was brilliant! Charming, coy, nervous and brave and I loved her more than I thought I would!

As always in this series the plot twisted and took unexpected turns everytime I thought I'd found my sea legs I was thrown of course! And that's why I love the Redwood pack series so much! Very unexpected! ooo and Caym saving Corbin like that... what's going on there!?!? Is he getting all emotional!? And Lexi and Parker!! exciting!
Also, totally picturing Logan as Joe Manganiello... that was sexy naked stand off with North! I'll take me some of that with a smile and a thankyou kind Sir!

This book is absolutely heart breaking. Maddox has struggled with his feelings for Ellie and possibly mating sharing the omega powers.
Maddox had sacrifice a lot for his family and his twin.
Ellie has been tortured by Corbin for years and has some serious trust issues but with Maddox refusing to mate or even talk about it, Ellie struggles to deal with her feelings and how the pack see her.
Great story, love new characters.

This series makes me want to be a shifter :O) Carrie Ann Ryan writes gripping stories with hot sexy heros and surface of the sun hot love scenes.

You can tell that this was a hard one for the author to get through. SO many emotions! To be expected with the story of the Packs Omega, and his mate. The storyline is getting rougher, and it's getting a lot more dangerous for the Redwood Pack.

If you have been reading this series then it was pretty obvious that Ellie and Maddox were Mates but for some reason weren't acting on it. This book addresses that and more while Ellie and Maddox help each other to heal their emotional wounds. I loved the story it was great and Ellie and Maddox make a fantastic couple. As per usual there are plenty of hot sex scenes and lots of love. More murder and mayhem included as the Centrals won't ever stop their vendetta. Ellie finds out about something towards the end that she never could have imagined and she will risk her life to protect.

This was a great book in the series. I really couldn't wait to read about those two. They were really special. I do have to admit that all this angst and self-sacrifice got on my nerves real quick, but in the end the book turned out great. It wasn't the best in the series though.
