this was hard to rate because i liked it and loved the characters but its inconsistent and the timeline is sooooooo slow. literally 4 years of slowness. for sloane being an intricate serial killer who is apparently smart enough to not be caught, she lacks a TON of skill and observational awareness. the whole beginning builds this hyper vigilant woman but none of that prowess is applied?? there’s random, out of characters details that are mentioned and you think they’ll be important, but they’re never talked about again. the whole epilogue doesn’t fit. the whole first half could’ve been avoided with a simple “i like you” something children say but these two grown serial killers couldn’t? alriiiiiight. now in hindsight, this book is a mess lol all that being said, it’s a likable, cute read. rowan is a true yearner which i love

there’s only a few hook up scenes and 95% of the book is spiceless, but what is written is pretty detailed. 🌶️ 3/5

If you liked the show "Dexter," then you might like this book.  Two serial killers who only target "bad" serial killers get together.  The book is very funny, and there is lots of sex.  I can see why it's a TikTok favorite.  The author nicely gives you a two-page warning of content triggers at the beginning of the book, so you can decide if this is something you'd want to read.  I found it entertaining, but I tend to like the macabre.
