It’s Dexter meets 50 shades of grey(which I couldn’t get into the later) two serial killers meet under some awkward situation and they start up a yearly tradition to hunt down serial killers and see who kills them first.

They then start to fall in lust and love. It gets pretty sexy filled towards the end for sure. I didn’t care too much for the romance/sex aspect but it did feel wilder than 50SG.

The cannibal chapter was pretty damn great.

Didn’t care much for the “surprise” villain at the end tho.

But still a fun listen.

This book is easily something I would read again, it is single handedly the reason I now love thriller, criminal, dark romance. I never thought a relationship between two serial killers could be so lovable but I found this book incredibly enjoyable. from the characters to the plot and the trauma they share, Rowan and Sloane might just be my favourite people now. Also the  amount of characters was easy to keep up with, without giving too much into the background plot.
This is an easy 4+ stars.
I’m so excited to read Leather and Lark.

I went into this book pretty blind and picked it up based on the crazy good reviews.
THIS BOOK WAS DARK AF
but somehow also a romcom in a very twisted way.
I could not put it down and the plot twist
I texted my bestie when it happened and I quote “bruh….you are going to shit a brick”
Can’t wait to read the next book
ALSO THE FUCKING EPILOGUE IM DEAD
