It’s fluff, like I assumed it would be, but what can I say? I have a weakness for the royals

I loved learning more about this amazing feminist! She is such an inspiration and so good and kind.

I read a book about Kate Middleton and was sorely disappointed by just how boring and privileged her background is. That's not to say that Meghan Markle was not also privileged, but the woman is far from boring.
I couldn't have cared less about the newest royal until I learned that she'd been previously married (that made me feel better about myself as a divorcee)... and then of course with the #Megxit, I wanted to know more about the woman she is.
Turns out she's really lovely and fascinating, and with lots of direct quotes in this book, I feel like I know her a little bit now. What a cool person.
Knocking this review down a couple of stars was the gossip-y sources of information referenced throughout. I think for a biography (or a couple's memoir?), more reputable sources and citations could have been employed.
Overall an interesting and enjoyable read, though.

My book group is reading biographies this month, and I saw this on the library new book shelf...I know better than to read instant books, but here it is. If you want a not very well organized or edited review of all the tell all books of the 20th Century, some historical information at random intervals, a lot of speculation, and a few interviews with very obscure people who are on the fringes of Meghan and Harry's lives, this is the book for you. To be fair, it doesn't pretend very hard to be much else, and it is a very quick read, as most of it can be skimmed. If you are new to royal watching or want to take the tabloids home in a better package, this one's for you

So in case you somehow missed it, the Royal Wedding is today!! This was a great recap of all the information I have learned about Harry and Meghan, as well as some additional historical tidbits thrown in. And on this very special day for them, I’ll leave the last line of the book to say it all: May Harry and Meghan live happily ever after.

Super basic easy read about these two. No new news, all the same old same old.

I’m being generous. Not really nothing new and it seemed like some of it came from past interviews/articles. Also I’m wondering how much of Eugenie and Beatrice not liking Kate and apparently being “mortified” by Harry marrying someone like Meghan as well as them being mad about his breakup with Cressida Bonas is factual. I don’t think Women’s Day is the best source if your going to be writing about stuff like this.

More details about Harry and Meghan. It was a good read if you wanted to know more about them.

Not what I thought it was going to be based on the title.
