Jeffers typical sweetness and whimsy.

Another David Tennant video ended up on my feed.

I really love the illustration and the moral of story. Simple yet beautiful.

I love the illustrations, the adventure story, and all the implausible things that the two main characters do!

Storytime Themes: Space, Planets

Probably ideally 1/2.

Tagged for caring & thinker.

Some nice inferring through wordless patches of smaller pictures.

Some great imaginative adventures, year 6 struggled to sufficiently suspend disbelief.

I enjoy the art style and theme of this one. It is highly unrealistic (intentionally so) and a little too long possibly for storytime. Will keep as a future possibility.

Powerful story of friendship and HELPING one another. LOVED this book! Beautiful illustrations, too. Kids will not be able to predict the imaginative ways that Oliver Jeffers solves the problems his characters encounter.

T-T: Lost and Found by Oliver Jeffers and How to Catch a Star by Oliver Jeffers

A lovely story of working together to help overcome the problems you may encounter. This book could be used within a PSHE lesson to emphasise the way in which individuals can work together, despite any perceived differences they may have - the boy has some very obvious differences to the alien he encounters on the moon, yet they are still able to work cohesively.
