I have this amazing friend who told me how her ancestor came from Telugu land to Tamil Nadu. My friend's ancestor used to be in army of Vijayanagara Empire and she told me how they moved to Tamil Nadu and started everything from scratch. This story made me so intrigued that i was looking for similar story of Telugu people in Tamil Nadu. Luckily, i came across this book. Here the story is bit different. A community of Telugu speakers migrates to the Tamil land to escape Muslim atrocity. It also give you the glimpses of Telugu people and their modus vivendi. The novel is unique on its own, it gives you vibe of rustic village lifestyle. This book make you feel like you are reading anthology but those stories are weaved into one novel.
